Creator Notes

My name is Andrew Cardozo, and I first started drawing comics when I was really little. I was always fascinated by superheroes and marveled in their heroism and superhuman abilities. This week I learned more about drawing figures in different poses, as well as shading techniques as well as making the bodies of my figures more proportional. If I had to make another comic book, I would probably continue the Spartan series and give him a back story that would make him stand out amongst the other American Superheroes.

"The Spartan" is a classic American-Superhero. Like most superheroes, the Spartan has a secret identity and powers that are revealed in the first novel. The inspiration for The Spartan comic are rooted in the battle of Thermopylae where an army of three hundred well trained soldiers took on the Persian army who greatly outnumbered them.
