Creator Notes

My comic is about a video game. The interesting aspect of this comic is that the characters interact with each other, which doesn’t happen in the actual video game. I chose this simple style of drawing the characters to show a different view of the realistic video game characters. Basically, this comic is fully understood if the reader has played the video game previous to reading the comic. I chose this story because I thought it would be interesting to draw a comic on something that would never be seen as a comic.

In developing my comic, I started out with various ideas that I needed to organize into one story that flows nicely. This was a challenge for me to think it completely out, so I took a different approach by just starting the comic and watch itself develop into an actual story. I'm particularly proud of how I was able to use all of my "Modern Warfare 2" references that I started out with. In my next comic, I might try to make more detailed characters and to use more expressive facial expressions.
