Creator Notes

My comic is about a make believe character named Kirby who is a just a normal guy. He learns of the captured princess and goes after to rescue her. I chose this because i wanted to make up a story that doesn't end like all fairytales. I wanted it to end shockingly. Because I haven't created many comics, I wanted to make it super simple.

First off, I had to create because i wanted to figure out the premise that everything would have to take place in. The character was pretty easy for me to figure out. I am pretty proud of that fact that I drew my character as well as i could. I'm a really challenged artist, so this was a big step for me. My next comic i want to work on better backgrounds and art. Just more detail for everything would be great

Comic Review

My first impression of the comic was that it was going to be a simple, typical hero story. As the story progressed, I appreciated how the comic used dialog that is typically used in modern, teenage conversations. The separate comic panels that just said, "BOOM" was a good idea because it created a sense of a big explosion. It emphasized the fact that the explosion was the biggest part of the scene. I hope that this artist will use more descriptive drawing techniques because it was difficult to understand what was fully going on.
