Chinese History

The mythical world of the gods rarely parallels historical events, (except in the case of nosy Emperors playing favoritism with the resident religions) so Chinese History doesn't have any direct ties to SoF. However, Chinese *Culture* has everything to do with SoF, and one way to understand the culture is to understand the history. I'm not going for details of every dynasty, but rather, the essence, the themes that run through everything.

Before we start, here are three key points you have to know about Chinese History:

• Internal Conflict => Chinese always fought Chinese.
• "Long Union leads to separation, long separation leads to union" => It's always a continuing cycle between a unifying rule and chaotic warlords.
• Corruption => big beauracracy, always corruption.

The Dynasties ... little juicy fragments of info.
